In this engaging novel, we hear from a variety of interconnected characters Rachel has a crush on her professor and decides to make a move But her mother Becca also has eyes for him This book was very simply written but it worked I liked all of the characters as well as how the book moved.

I liked the dog That s about it There was no redeeming qualities to any of the characters presented The liberal overtones were completely unnecessary and basically made the characters evenridiculous But maybe that was the point The dog I liked the dog.

Perfectly fine, light, fast paced beach read, but I felt perpetually distracted by the heaps of virtue signaling in the narration Maybe that was meant to redeem the characters, but it feltlike the author gesturing at issues and wanting to be relevant without any interest in engaging with the issues ...
